Why is Paul's voice weird in "Oh ! Darling"?

I just heard the two versions (The one on Abbey Road and the Anthology version) and I have noticed that Paul's voice in the Anthology version is weird. Also, somewhere around the end, he sounds more like Paul, and then he just changes it again.
