What would Socrates think of the state of religion in the modern world?

Socrates would imagine that the world should advance far more since history of his own philosophy. I think he would be surprised that we are still lost in the allusion of the concept of the super God much like the Greeks thought. In the centuries have ped since he was alive, I'm sure you wouldn't believe that we would've advanced more.
