I became a vegetarian last year, and just wondered whether there are other ingredients in certain foods apart from gelatin and cochineal that I should be looking out for when I'm checking the ingredients to find out if a product is okay to eat. Are there other ingredients that derive from animals that I need to be aware of? And are either gelatin or cochineal ever listed under different names? I just want to know what to look out for.
