Certain CDs not being read?

Certain CDs are not being read by my computer, like TES4: Oblivion, while others are not (SBC Yahoo DSL Internet disk that I desperately need to use) any reason for this? the CDs are in great shape, a few perfect condition if not very close. It seems to work just on games (thats all I can compare it to) I took the drive out... cleaned it and stuff (real dusty) but nothing, aside from it being pretty dirty (Space-wise) My father couldn't see any problem. Help? I've been having alot of problems lately @_@
