WHY aren't YOU PROTESTING to FREE TIBET?

Yes I would join a protest group but not if it was against the Olympic games. Sport and politics should be kept apart irrespective of the country it is held in. As to date nobody has been able to prove whether China "owns" Tibet or whether its a sovereign country. as their history goes back many hundreds of years and is very complicated. There was a treaty signed in 1959 between China and Tibet but even that does not make it clear.
