PLEASE HELP-Painful waxing scar?

I went to get my armpits waxed and the woman doing it was so rough that the area hurt for over 1 week. The area was very very red and extremely painful at first and now it's turned a darker color and is getting dry and itchy. To make things worse I use Terra Naturals unscented deodorant and every time I put it on my armpits burn for the entire day. I'm getting married soon and need the scars to go away. Any suggestions will help.
