Isn't it clear Bush was right?

Bush's 2003 statement was certainly true. But you're kidding yourself if you think he had a real "freedom agenda". The only dictator he cared about was Saddam Hussein, and Bush had a hard on for him to begin with. Bush did zero to promote democracy in any other country during his eight years in office.
