How many Inertia/Shock sensors are required on multiple panes of gl?

I am fitting inertia/shock sensors as part of a burglar alarm but I would like to know how many sensors it takes to cover double doors(French) and windows? Can I get away with just one sensor on a pair of doors or windows or do I need a sensor per each pain of gl?
