How is it the companies that duped hard working Americans into loans they could never afford? Bad Loans?

Are the ones we are bailing out when in reality we should be bailing out the American Citizen so their credit is not damaged. Stupid companies with stupid ethics are not the ones we should be giving so they can give CEO's big bonuses. Or am I wrong?
