Degri and Degri: The Next Generation...How did these shows end?

I have been watching the latest episodes of Degri: The Next Generation on the N and i am so confused (prob cause i missed like 4 seasons loll) but has the show ended?? Also, how many seasons was the original Degri? and it feels like everyone has dated eachother... i am so confused... in your opinion who are the best couples of DTNG.... and then if the show ended who are the actual couples that DTNG ended with?
